Beavers Bend Cabin Promo Carryover

Beavers Bend Cabin Promo Carryover

Check-in Sunday-Wednesday in August-September and receive 20% off (Does not include Memorial Day Weekend).

Weekends are going fast at Mountain Vista. Currently, only five are available until November.

Remember, you always have a choice when determining where to stay in Beavers Bend State Park. Its nonsense to pay unnecessary add-on charges for cleaning, insurance, firewood, s’mores or resort fees.

Our s’mores kits are free and we never use these guest gouging tactics.

Mountain Vista features free Starbucks along with Bath & Body Works soaps. High-end linens adorn each of our three king-size bedrooms along with private balconies overlooking the secluded forest.

At Mountain Vista, you’re truly staying in our vacation home, not one of many rental cabins owned solely to capture tourist dollars. You’re dealing directly with the owners…not a teenager answering the phone trying to book 25-50 cabins.

As always, we continue to upgrade our amenities. New flat screen televisions and a gas grill are the latest new items at Mountain Vista.

All water activities are back to normal in the Beavers Bend/Broken Bow Lake area. The heavy rainfall during the spring should result in an amazing foliage season during October and November.

As this recent guest proclaimed, the view will be forever etched in your hearts!

Broken Bow Lake Duck Tours

Broken Bow Lake Duck Tours

Broken Bow Lake Duck Tours is the most creative tourist attraction to ever hit Broken Bow Lake.

Visitors love “The Duck”! They already have quite a following and this new business only began few months ago. You’ll see all the hot spots while aboard on land during your Duck Boat tour. Captain Kelly Persinger, a lifelong resident of the Broken Bow Lake area, will provide an informative and lively tour.

Ray Gaston of Broken Bow Lake Duck Tours knew this idea would be a home run for Beavers Bend tourists and locals.

“We thought this would be a great way for family, friends and tourists to see our beautiful lake and learn about its history and lore. We provide fun for everyone,” Gaston said.

Broken Bow Lake Duck Tours

Let “The Duck” give you a tour when visiting Beavers Bend State Park. After perusing dry ground around the Broken Bow Lake area, you’ll make a mad dash into the deep, crystal clear water of Broken Bow Lake for a magnificent adventure.

They’re located at 2820 Stevens Gap Road, near the marina. 580-494-3825.

They’re great people and this is a “Must Do” on your next visit to Beavers Bend!

Beavers Bend BBQ Tip

Beavers Bend BBQ Tip

Looking for a Beavers Bend BBQ tip? We love Shady Oaks Restaurant near the Beavers Bend State Park exit.

I’ve written about them several times. Their omelets are great at breakfast and their burgers are the best in the Kiamichi Mountains. I branched out and tried something new recently and it was fantastic!

Get the BBQ sandwich! It’s awesome and they definitely don’t skimp on the portion. I prefer my BBQ sauce to have a little more kick but nevertheless, it was a tremendous lunch. I’ve truly never had a bad meal at Shady Oaks and I’ll order this again in the future.

They also feature ribs that I can’t wait to try.  Don’t bypass Shady Oaks thinking it’s just a little hole-in-the-wall. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. This little gem is a favorite spot for many locals.

Try my Beavers Bend BBQ tip on your next trip to Broken Bow and let me know what you think!

Will My Beavers Bend Cabin Be Secluded?

One of the biggest questions people want to know when visiting the Broken Bow Lake area is “Will my Beavers Bend cabin be secluded?”

There are about 1,000 cabins for rent in Beavers Bend. Some are cheap, under $100. Many are expensive, well over $400 per night. If you’re choosing an upscale cabin make sure to check references and investigate what the term “secluded” really means on a cabin website.

Look for pictures and video of the property perimeter. Do you homework to make sure there are no cabins 30 feet away…you may not want to hear every word going on at the Jones’ Family Reunion next door!

Mountain Vista in Beavers Bend has three-king bedrooms and private decks boasting a terrific view of nature. When gazing westward, you’ll see a stunning 20-mile of the Kiamichi Mountains. We also have acres of seclusion in the upscale Southern Hills Addition.

The list of “Who’s Who” that have visited Mountain Vista is second-to-none. Dan Boren-former United States Congressman, Jeff Stone-CEO of Skeeter Boats, Toby Rowland-Voice of the Oklahoma Sooners and Jim Traber-Former Baltimore Oriole and OKC radio host, are just a few that have made BeaversBendVacations.com their vacation destination.

We always feature free s’mores kits and firewood. There are no additional charges for cleaning or insurance and there are a few extras that our guests love! You’ll never pay resort fees or incur needless add-on charges at our vacation home.

Will my Beavers Bend Cabin be secluded?

Mountain Fork River

Many luxury cabins in Beavers Bend tend to oversell how many people they can accommodate. We do just the opposite…your comfort is our priority. Scrutinize any cabin stating they can hold 15-20 people. Sleeping bags scattered all over the place isn’t our style.

July is packed at Mountain Vista but we have dates available in August and September. The fall foliage season is only a few months away and it’s one of our busiest times of the year.

Make sure you know the answer regarding “Will my Beavers Bend cabin be secluded?”

We’d love to help you plan a Beavers Bend getaway. Two-million tourists visit Broken Bow annually for a reason…It’s gorgeous here!

July 4th Broken Bow cabins

We now have high-speed fiber optic internet service at Mountain Vista. We were one of the first cabins in Broken Bow to have the internet a few years ago…it was a big deal back then! Our connection has always been fast but now it’s lightening quick with this latest upgrade. How’s this for an office view?

Plan your fall foliage trip to Beavers Bend now. We receive hundreds of emails and calls during October and November from people wanting to stay at Mountain Vista. Autumn peak dates will book quickly.

You must take the Talimena Drive when visiting Beavers Bend State Park during October and November. I wrote about our jaunt last year.

We’re different from many luxury cabins in Broken Bow. Our 20-mile view is truly second-to-none. Never charging add-on fees has been a huge hit with our guests through the years. You’ll have no resort fees or additional charges for cleaning, firewood, s’mores kits and insurance at Mountain Vista. Do your homework and look for these “gotcha’s” when choosing a luxury cabin in Beavers Bend State Park.

Only a few dates remain open during the summer. Contact us at 405-535-8055 if we can help you plan a trip to Broken Bow Lake.

July 4th Broken Bow cabins are great, I hope you have one. Happy 4th everyone!
