Broken Bow Lake in Eastern, Oklahoma is located in one of the state’s most beautiful settings. Broken Bow Lake is over 22 miles long, and lies in the Ouachita Mountains of McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma.

The lakes crystal blue waters provide a variety of water recreation, not only boating, fishing and sea-doos, but also scuba diving. Beavers Bend State Park, located along the Mountain Fork River just below the dam, provides a wide variety of luxury cabins. Broken Bow Lake’s crystal clear waters provide one of the best year-round fishing spots in the state of Oklahoma.

We spent a few days at our Mountain Vista cabin last weekend. The weather was incredible! Staying in our vacation home and enjoying dinner under the umbrella or views from our third deck level is always amazing. We’ve greatly improved our deck views from all levels.

Mountain Vista has a new grill…Wow, it’s great! Infrared, no flare-up technology allows for even cooking and searing meats. Searing is the latest, greatest feature in grilling. It really locks in those steak juices!

Left, Right, Left, Right Left…

When searching for a cabin at Beavers Bend/Broken Bow Lake do your homework. Ask a few questions regarding what’s to the left, right, front and behind the property. How close are other cabins? Ask for pictures of the cabin from all angles.

How close is the road? Some cabins are within a few feet of a dusty road.

If your neighbors are under a few hundred yards away, you’ll hear noise instead of the wind blowing through towering pines. The rush for highly sought after luxury cabins will begin soon. Don’t get surprised by booking a cabin and not knowing another family will literally be 30 feet away!

Beavers Bend Mountain Vista Special Visitor!

Susan Havens, the star of our Mountain Vista video recently enjoyed a few days at the cabin with family. Susan not only hosts our video, she also enjoys visiting the cabin and vacationing in Beavers Bend a few days each year!

Susan said, “I love going to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, though I have to admit, I’ve had to stay connected to the Internet much of the time due to client demand. That’s a pretty nice office if you ask me!”

Susan, along with our friend and producer Kurt Boxdorfer http://www.legendmediapros.com , helped paint the picture of what it’s truly like to experience Mountain Vista.
