Broken Bow Lake Area Hiking

Mountain Vista Cabin Features Acres of Hiking Opportunities

We enjoyed hiking the Mountain Vista luxury cabin property yesterday. Weekday rates are reduced in April. Arrive on Sunday or Monday and your fourth night is free.

Get a video of the property before choosing a luxury cabin in Broken Bow. Often, cabins are very close together and websites don’t indicate you’ll be getting to know the next door neighbors extremely well!

Beavers Bend Spring Break Activities

Mountain Vista Luxury Cabin

A perfect day in Beavers Bend begins with a great cup of coffee and breakfast. Stop by Adam & Eve’s Coffee Shop across from the state park entrance. They have the best cup of joe in Broken Bow. I’ve written about this great place a few times and our Mountain Vista cabin guests always give it good reviews.

After breakfast, its time to burn a few calories and take a hike. There are scores of trails in the area, including the famed David Boren Hiking Trail. Your trail journey will be much safer and more pleasurable with a good pair of hiking boots. I wear Vasque and you can find them at most upper-end outdoor stores. Their soles are perfect for the different terrains in Beavers Bend and they perform great in wet conditions.

Bring your clubs and visit Cedar Creek Golf Course. This inexpensive gem features towering pines and beautiful views, including a stunning lake green.

Broken Bow Lake Duck Tours

Broken Bow Lake Duck Tours

No spring break trip to Beavers Bend is complete without “Riding the Duck!” The Broken Bow Lake Duck Tour is tremendous! This unique concept was unveiled last year and became a huge hit. Captain Kelly Persinger provides an informative and entertaining tour including a historical background of the Hochatown area.

Contact Bryce Archey, the premiere fishing guide on Broken Bow Lake. He has a few dates available during spring break. Bryce tells me white bass will be his focus in the near future. They will be running up river channels during the next couple of weeks. Bryce will even fillet your stringer after a day on the lake.

Spring Break Activities in Beavers Bend

After an evening meal at the Food Network Champion chef’s Moon Tower Bar and Grill, don’t forget to spend time around the cabin fire pit. Many luxury cabin guests have never built a fire before arriving in Beavers Bend. Do a little research and you’ll have a nice blaze going in no time.

Our spring break dates are booked at Mountain Vista, but we have several March and April dates available. Enjoy your Beavers Bend spring break activities and contact us at Mountain Vista. We’ll be happy to help plan you next luxury cabin getaway!

Mistakes To Avoid When Choosing A Beavers Bend Cabin Rental

IMG_3221

We’ve been in the Broken Bow Lake luxury cabin arena for several years and have a pretty good grasp on what people like and dislike when choosing a McCurtain County getaway. Here’s a few mistakes people have told us they’ve made when looking for a “Great Deal” in Beavers Bend.

Choosing the Cheapest Price: This usually comes with lots of “Gotcha’s” upon arrival. You get what you pay for when staying at a Beavers Bend cabin. A lower priced cabin usually means there’s a great view of another cabin a few feet away and scores of loud neighbors are nearby. Discount cabins attract “Discount Guests” and this has an effect on a cabin’s wear and tear over the years. Never pay add-on fees or accept bogus charges for firewood or extra insurance. If you want groceries delivered to the cabin prior to arrival or have a special request, always expect to pay an acceptable charge of 15-20%.

Choosing A Location That’s Not Upscale: We’ve heard horror stories of people arriving at their cabin and the property is filled with trash, unkept and directly next to a trailer park. This can be easily avoided by thoroughly researching the cabin, owners and management company.

Believing Everything You See On Some Websites: Have you ever seen a cabin website stating “Our cabin is 30 feet away from another cabin, a nightclub with loud music is nearby and traffic is crazy around our area…?” Of course you haven’t. Others in Beavers Bend are actually using our deck view on their website to market cabins…Do your homework. You don’t necessarily need a 20 mile view like ours to enjoy a Beavers Bend cabin stay but make sure the linens aren’t purchased at a discount chain and the beds aren’t from a garage sale.

Accepting Horrible Inquiry Response Time: This is a huge pet peeve with us and perhaps the biggest complaint we hear from new guests who choose us over someone else. One of the reasons we’ve been successful and have developed great relationships with our guests is we respond back promptly to calls and emails. We’ve received tons of business over the years because other companies didn’t have great business acumen and professionalism. Waiting 10 hours or several days on a reply is unacceptable. If you don’t receive prompt feedback, look for someone else who values your business. Our phones and email are available around the clock.  You’ll never see “Please, no calls after 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday’s” on our site!

Choosing a “Rental Cabin” Vs. A “Vacation Home”: Make sure you select someone’s vacation home and the owners “baby it” and visit the cabin often. Many cabins are owned by the same person or company and were built strictly for revenue purposes. Remember, do your homework and you get what you pay for!

Call us at 405-535-8055 or via email: [email protected] if you have questions about choosing the correct Oklahoma resort. By doing the proper research, you’re stay in our wonderful area will surely be enjoyable!

Looking For Cabins in Broken Bow & Beavers Bend? Beware of CopyCats!

IMG_0047Quit stealing our view! We continue to be amazed that others are marketing their Broken Bow Lake area cabins using our Beavers Bend Mountain Vista Cabin 20-mile view pic. This is our deck view, none other. It’s not right and unethical.

This serves as a friendly reminder to do your homework before choosing a luxury getaway rental near the State Park in Beavers Bend. Don’t simply take it for granted that what you see on another cabin rental website is true. Many times their websites won’t indicate there’s another cabin 30 feet away. Being only a few yards away from a noisy road is usually another tidbit they fail to mention. A luxury cabin coupled with a fantastic view is the reason you want to get away from the Stemmons Freeway in Dallas for a few days, right?

A great view is paramount to many guests being able to enjoy the Beavers Bend experience. There’s many cabins with great views but there’s only one with this one!

“Hey, is that picture on your website REALLY your view…?”

Beavers Bend Cabins Property Management, Marketing & Media

Cabin Chamber 2014 AdWe’re now offering marketing and media expertise to elite luxury cabins in Broken Bow and the opportunity to team with BeaversBendVacations.com.

Does your luxury cabin in Beavers Bend have a story to tell but it’s not being conveyed properly because you’re lost in the jungle with 25-50 other cabins on a cheap looking website? We can help… Having a diverse background in media and marketing since the 1980’s, we saw a number of issues regarding how poorly luxury cabins were being marketed in Oklahoma…and we changed the game.

Mountain Vista cabin was the “first” to incorporate professionally produced luxury cabin video tours in Beavers Bend. Others have tried to imitate with unprofessional attempts using a camera phone and low budget technology. That doesn’t work…People in search of luxury vacation properties spot this immediately and expect better quality. As a luxury cabin owner in Oklahoma, you’re charging several hundred dollars per night. You deserve a better online presence and someone with decades of expertise in print advertising and design, marketing and video production.

We anticipated the current mobile market dominance years ago and created Beavers Bend’s only app to better serve and instantly communicate with Broken Bow Lake fans. Today, thousands have our app and benefit from the promotions and area information we offer.  Mountain Vista in Beavers Bend was also the first luxury property in Oklahoma to utilize QR code technology.

Checkout our marketing and media, contact us if you like what you see. BeaversBendVacations.com will professionally market your McCurtain County Getaway or luxury property with broadcast quality video production and attention to detail.  We don’t believe cheap looking websites and cabin signs or homemade videos and low-res pictures are the way to market expensive luxury properties.

Your luxury property may have a unique story to tell…Is it being told?
