Looking For Cabins in Broken Bow & Beavers Bend? Beware of CopyCats!

Quit stealing our view! We continue to be amazed that others are marketing their Broken Bow Lake area cabins using our Beavers Bend Mountain Vista Cabin 20-mile view pic. This is our deck view, none other. It’s not right and unethical.

This serves as a friendly reminder to do your homework before choosing a luxury getaway rental near the State Park in Beavers Bend. Don’t simply take it for granted that what you see on another cabin rental website is true. Many times their websites won’t indicate there’s another cabin 30 feet away. Being only a few yards away from a noisy road is usually another tidbit they fail to mention. A luxury cabin coupled with a fantastic view is the reason you want to get away from the Stemmons Freeway in Dallas for a few days, right?

A great view is paramount to many guests being able to enjoy the Beavers Bend experience. There’s many cabins with great views but there’s only one with this one!

2013 Beavers Bend Mountain Vista Cabin Final Thoughts…

2013 is almost in the books, time for a little reflection and a nightcap on the year… It’s been an honor to host scores of great guests at Mountain Vista in Beavers Bend this year and we’ve had many highlights. To better serve our guests arriving at night, we installed a state-of-the-art sign that illuminates at night, allowing our Broken Bow Lake area cabin guests to navigate with confidence.

The feedback regarding our new sign has been overwhelming. It makes a statement of what’s awaiting up the hill. The booming sign is the first thing one sees before arriving at the cabin. It signifies everything upon which Mountain Vista was founded…Elegance, boldness and worthy of a stellar view.

Another thrill for us in 2013 was teaming with our old pal Neal Doughty, keyboardist and co-founder of the legendary rock band REO Speedwagon. Our latest cabin video highlighting Mountain Vista and the Broken Bow Lake area was given a tremendous boost with “Variety Tonight”. We go back over 20 years with Neal and were honored he allowed his legendary hit song to grace our website. See the new video on our homepage.

As usual, our friend Kurt Boxdorfer, founder of Legend Media Pros has been there for us with his brilliant expertise, creativity and passion. No deadline, project or idea is beyond his talent and vision. His incredible media production, videography and photography have been a cornerstone of BeaversBendVacations.com since the beginning. I’m an OU grad, he’s a Texas grad…Wow, Sooners and Longhorns can get along…except for the second Saturday in October!

Finally, our greatest highlight this year has been you…The Louisiana family working hard, doing the daily grind and wanting to enjoy the best nature-filled luxury cabin experience possible, you return every January. The widow from Oklahoma, continuing the Mountain Vista annual October visit with family because her late spouse loved it and our cabin getaway is a “tradition”. The church group from Louisiana who has enjoyed worshiping on our deck for years and return annually in April. The girls getaway gang from Dallas who must have their annual three-day visit at our McCurtain County getaway to fly fish Mountain Fork River, take in the sunsets and enjoy our fire pit each February…

Without you, Mountain Vista wouldn’t be the same. Thank you. Let’s have a great 2014!

Broken Bow Luxury Cabin Opening

We have an opening this weekend at Mountain Vista in Beavers Bend. Come hang out around the fire pit! Oklahoma tourism continues to boom at Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake!

But things slow down a little during the winter and our guests love the great running, mountain biking and hiking the Kiamichi Mountain area offers.

When’s the last time you roasted a marshmallow?

Christmas Season at Broken Bow Cabins in Beavers Bend

Holiday Greetings to our Broken Bow Lake cabin friends in frigid Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana! We’ll be Christmas decorating at Mountain Vista in Beavers Bend soon…Here’s last years pic!

The Beavers Bend area is fine weather wise…Most of the ice was north of Broken Bow Lake and the luxury cabin areas.

We have an opening at Mountain Vista this weekend (Dec 12-16).

Everyone stay safe and remember to do your homework before choosing a luxury Beavers Bend getaway. Checkout the view, proximity to a noisy road and ask about guest gouging add-on fees such as firewood and insurance. We never charge for these at Mountain Vista.

P.S: Mountain Vista’s Christmas decorations are “On the House” too!

New Voice of Sooners Fan of Beavers Bend & Mountain Vista Cabin

As graduates of the University of Oklahoma, we’re thrilled with the new radio voice of the Sooners, our friend, Toby Rowland. He’s also a fan of Mountain Vista Cabin, Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park!Toby says “I feel like I’ve won the lottery. Since I’ve been old enough to tune in a radio I’ve thought being the play-by-play voice of the Oklahoma Sooners would be the absolute greatest job a person could have. I look forward to many years of being the eyes and ears for the great fans of the University of Oklahoma. It’s an amazing honor!”Toby has been a dominant force in Oklahoma media for about a decade as a sports anchor for KWTV in Oklahoma City and KREF Radio in Norman. He and family recently visited Beavers Bend, Broken Bow Lake and Mountain Vista Cabin…
